Getting Started

Phone2 gives your business a dedicated phone number that your whole team can use to make and receive calls and texts. It works through our web app, iOS app, and Android app — no special hardware needed. All communication is synced in real-time so everyone on your team stays in the loop.

Phone2 works on web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge), iOS devices (iPhone and iPad), and Android phones and tablets. You can use multiple devices simultaneously, and all your calls and messages sync across them.

Setting up Phone2 takes about 2 minutes. Sign up on our website, choose your business phone number (local or toll-free), invite your team members, and start making calls. No technical knowledge required — if you can use a smartphone, you can use Phone2.

You can be up and running in under 5 minutes. Once you sign up, you'll immediately get access to your new business number. Invite your team, download the mobile apps, and you're ready to take your first call.

Absolutely! You can transfer your existing business number to Phone2 and keep the number your customers already know. We handle the entire porting process for you — just provide your current carrier information and we'll take care of the rest.

Number porting typically takes 1-2 weeks, depending on your current carrier. During the porting process, you can use a temporary Phone2 number. Once porting completes, calls to your old number automatically route to Phone2.

No. Phone2 uses your internet connection (WiFi or cellular data) for calls and messages. It does not use your cellular minutes or SMS plan. This means you can make unlimited calls and send unlimited texts as long as you have an internet connection.
